Our Hebden Sawn Paving is characterised by a softer buff colour along with a slight veining through the slabs, which is characteristic of all the stone coming from our Halifax quarry. This lovely consistent creamy look comes with the durability and weather-resistance that has made York Stone so famous and popular over time. You’ll find it in all kinds of locations around the country, from public buildings to London Terrace Paving and Steps. 

If you love this look, you’ll find plenty of options beyond paving for your project, including steps, risers and coping stones. It’s diamond sawn on six sides for the smoothest possible finish, suiting it to ultra-modern architectural styles as well as more traditional homes. 

Our stone masons can cut to any size you need. We generally cut 600mm by either random or bespoke dimensions with a thickness of 40mm or 50mm as standard, but we can match whatever gauge you want. 

A little veining is common in all stone from this part of Yorkshire, and part of what gives it its distinctive character.
