Our Bancroft Riven York Stone Paving is quarried and hand fettled finished by our own stonemasons using premium quality York Stone slab rock. Hand-Fettled is a traditional finish for York Stone paving and is achieved using a hammer and chisel which is time-consuming and precise work but provides a beautifully riven and textured face to the paving with fettled edges. Our stonemasons provide stone quality that is unbeatable.

Our Riven Hand Fettled York Stone Paving is a natural product quarried directly from a quarry in Bradford so it is important to take into consideration that the stone may contain a small amount of veining but this is characteristic to York Stone. Natural stone varies in colour and natural markings and this is one of the qualities that make it so unique.

Maintenance of the stone: If your paving or pathway is in a high traffic area or there are a lot of trees and foliage, we would recommend applying a natural stone sealant in order to protect the stone from staining and any potential slipperiness in poor weather conditions.
